What started as a government owned telephone company has turned over the last few years into the sole integrated fixed, mobile, internet, and data provider in Jordan.

However, with France Telecom on board as a strategic partner, JTEL entered the mobile services market in 2000 as the market’s second operator. Since then, JTEL managed to increase its subscriber’s base to account for 70% of its 2.8 million subscribers.
